Prestige Letting is owned and run by Jeff Travis, who has lived in Reigate for the past 30 years. Jeff's first involvement with domestic property was at age 22 when his insurance company employer asked him to buy and furnish a house for an executive from overseas. Over the years, Jeff has been homeowner, landlord and tenant in various properties in various locations.

Tenant Find & Let Service 

We provide a free market appraisal which includes advice on property preparation for letting and likely rental value.    We market your property utilising ALL the property internet sites.      We contact our database of applicants awaiting accomodation.

We conduct viewings and full pre-Tenancy checks including employer, landlord and bank references. We assist Landlords with gas, electricity and other inspections and preparations for tenancy and obtain the security deposit and first month's rent, and arrange for future rent to be paid into Landlords' bank accounts.

Commission, which includes Tenancy Agreement, is 5% of the gross rental income vat free for up to a maximum of 12 months (minimum £250) deducted from the first month's rent. 

Renewals, following six month tenancies, are at 5%.

Renewals after 12 months are charged at 4%.

Tenant Find & Let plus Rent Collection plus Management

This service is for Landlords who do not wish, or prefer not, to be involved with their Tenants or to be personally responsible for running repairs affecting their property. We make an initial three monthly and then six monthly property inspection to ensure that it is being kept in order. We oversee maintenance and arrange routine repairs on behalf of Landlords. We are the contact for Tenants for any problems and we liase with Landlords and tenants to resolve problems. All costs are deducted from rental income as agreed.

Commission is 10% of which 5% of the gross rental payable is deducted from the first monthly rental and 5% of the rent received deducted each month for the full term of the tenancy.

GUARANTEE ....our commissions are below the Reigate average, plus you save a further 20% because we do not charge VAT. If you find another local agency offering a similar service for a lower commission we will reduce our commission for that service to be 5% below the other agency.
